Description

Decide the fate of a nation and the destiny of the world Axis & Allies Pacific 1940 from Avalon Hill Games and Hasbro!

The Avalon Hill Axis & Allies Pacific 1940 board game is a stand-alone game that can also combine with the Axis & Allies Europe 1940 game. (Sold separately. Subject to availability.) It includes over 450 playing pieces, deluxe game components, local storage boxes, and an oversized board that measures 35” x 32". The game includes neutral countries that can be invaded, and mechanized infantry and tactical bombers are included. This World War II strategy game can be joined with Axis & Allies Europe 1940 (sold separately) to create a 6-player game on a map measuring 70" x 32" (178 x 81 cm). The tabletop game is for 2 to 4 players, and playtime is about 6 hours.

Just imagine. What if the Japanese attacked the United States in 1940 instead of on December 7, 1941? In this game, you get to explore that possibility. It's spring, 1940 and Japan is at war with China. Any attacks on British, Dutch, ANZAC (Australian New Zealand Army Corps) or American territories will be considered an act of war by the Allied powers. They remain at peace for the time being, but each will be drawn into the war as certain events unfold.

The game includes over 450 playing pieces plus models for tactical bombers and mechanized infantry. The game can be played by up to four players. Choose which units to build for each power, then move attacking units into hostile spaces and resolve those attacks using dice rolls.

Axis & Allies fans will love the extra large gameboard measuring 35”w x 32”h. This can be played as a stand-alone game, but it's designed to be joined with Axis & Allies Europe 1940 to create a 6-player game on a map measuring 70" wide by 32" high (178 x 81 cm). (Sold separately. Subject to availability.)

How will history be written? Axis Victory: Japan wins the game by controlling any 6 victory cities at the end of a complete round of play as long it controls Tokyo at the end of that round. Allied Victory: The Allied powers win the game by controlling Tokyo at the end of Japan’s turn, as long as they control an Allied capital (Calcutta, Sydney, or San Francisco) at that time!

Features:

  • Stand-Alone or Combine - Can be played as a stand-alone game or combined with the Axis & Allies Europe 1940 tabletop game (sold separately, subject to availability) to create one huge Axis & Allies experience.
  • Over 450 Playing Pieces - The game includes ANZAC (Australian New Zealand Army Corps) miniatures as well as mechanized infantry and anti-aircraft artillery, and tactical bombers.
  • Massive Gameboard - The large gameboard (35" x 32") when combined with the Axis & Allies Europe 1940 game (sold separately) creates a 70" x 32" playing field to experience full scale WWII global conflict.
  • Leave Your Mark on History - Play as Japan, China, the U.S., U.K. or ANZAC forces. Team up and compete to develop better weapons, conquer territories, amass units, and complete national objectives.
  • Immersive Narrative - Experience an exciting night of tabletop gameplay! This World War II strategy board game is for 2-4 players, ages 12 and up and takes about 6 hours to play.

Great experience. I ordered 7 Youtooz vinyl figures from Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. I had some requests regarding when items would be shipped, and splitting the in-stock and pre-order items. They were easily able to accommodate these requests, and I already received the 6 in-stock items without issue. Excellent customer service, highly recommend!

I highly recommend to buy games from this respectful company. Their customer service response time just unbeatable even compare to Amazon or other big retail company. Long story in short, I ordered wrong game for order cancellation, I thought most of reply template will be "Sorry to hear that, but order has been processed." But the customer service replied me under 15 min, and informed me the refund.

My purchase arrived in two days. I needed to follow up to confirm something and when I emailed their customer service I actually got a human with a name. We corresponded! It felt like I was talking to the owner and that he had time for me and really cared. These are the good guys and I need to remember to go to Shopville first when purchasing online.

Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Venture forth to our comprehensive FAQ repository or contact us, and we shall assist you.

Is Shopverse secure?

Yes, we go full fortress mode to keep your data safe. Your payment and shipping info is encrypted by Shopify, PayPal, and Shop Pay (thanks, Stripe and Shopify Payments).
Worried about us snooping on your bank details? Don’t be, because
A) We couldn't if we wanted to.
B) We’re geeks, not spies.

Who do you use for shipping?

We ship with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and Canada Post — because teleportation isn’t a thing yet. If you’re loyal to a specific carrier, let us know, and we’ll do our best. But hey, if their rates are wild, we’re not footing the bill.

Don’t worry, though — no matter who delivers it, your order is guaranteed to arrive in pristine, nerd-approved condition. If not, our No-Hassle Return Policy will swoop in like a caped crusader. You’re welcome.

Where is my package?

Tracking your package? The carrier's official tracking site has all the latest intel. You’ll find a link to it on your order detail page once your order ships. Pro tip: We don’t have secret insider info beyond what the tracking page shows (and neither does the carrier, FYI).

If the tracking hasn’t updated for 10 days straight, hit us up or contact the carrier, and we’ll start an investigation. Because lost loot is no joke.

How do I cancel / make changes to an order?

Need to tweak or cancel your order? Shoot us an email or message us on Facebook ASAP. If you catch us before 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the next business day, we’ll make the magic happen.

But fair warning: once your order’s processed, it’s game over for changes or cancellations. (And yes, processing can happen before it’s marked as shipped, so don’t procrastinate!)
