Description

Remastered and released for the first time on DVD and double-CD, Pet Shop Boys filmed live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the end of their 1994 Discovery Tour.

Previously only available on VHS, this is the first time that fans will be able to experience this classic concert on DVD and listen to the audio on CDs. The show was filmed by Brazilian director Roberto Berliner with a local TV crew in December 1994 in front of a wildly enthusiastic Rio audience on PSB’s first visit to Brazil.

The DVD and CDs document a show very different in feel to the two ground-breaking tours that preceded it in 1989 and 1991. Following on from the release of their albums “Very” and “Disco 2”, Pet Shop Boys decided to focus the two-hour set largely on uplifting songs with a party vibe, taking inspiration from visits to the New York under-ground house club, the Sound Factory Bar.

‘Discovery’ saw Pet Shop Boys with four dancers, backing singer Katie Kissoon and two Latin percussionists embrace spontane-ity in a way they never had before.

A new booklet is packaged with the DVD and CDs, featuring candid on-tour photographs, an interview by Chris Heath conducted during tour rehearsals and an exclusive on-tour diary by Neil Tennant!

Outstanding customer service - Hands goes above and beyond. Stellar products, great prices, and an overall excellent experience. I’ll definitely purchase again!

Review from Google

Great experience. I ordered 7 Youtooz vinyl figures from Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. I had some requests regarding when items would be shipped, and splitting the in-stock and pre-order items. They were easily able to accommodate these requests, and I already received the 6 in-stock items without issue. Excellent customer service, highly recommend!

Review from Google

I highly recommend to buy games from this respectful company. Their customer service response time just unbeatable even compare to Amazon or other big retail company. Long story in short, I ordered wrong game for order cancellation, I thought most of reply template will be "Sorry to hear that, but order has been processed." But the customer service replied me under 15 min, and informed me the refund.

Review from Google

My purchase arrived in two days. I needed to follow up to confirm something and when I emailed their customer service I actually got a human with a name. We corresponded! It felt like I was talking to the owner and that he had time for me and really cared. These are the good guys and I need to remember to go to Shopville first when purchasing online.

Frequently Asked Questions

Venture forth to our comprehensive FAQ repository or contact us, and we shall assist you.

Is Shopverse secure?

Yes, we go full fortress mode to keep your data safe. Your payment and shipping info is encrypted by Shopify, PayPal, and Shop Pay (thanks, Stripe and Shopify Payments).
Worried about us snooping on your bank details? Don’t be, because
A) We couldn't if we wanted to.
B) We’re geeks, not spies.

Who do you use for shipping?

We ship with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and Canada Post — because teleportation isn’t a thing yet. If you’re loyal to a specific carrier, let us know, and we’ll do our best. But hey, if their rates are wild, we’re not footing the bill.

Don’t worry, though — no matter who delivers it, your order is guaranteed to arrive in pristine, nerd-approved condition. If not, our No-Hassle Return Policy will swoop in like a caped crusader. You’re welcome.

Where is my package?

Tracking your package? The carrier's official tracking site has all the latest intel. You’ll find a link to it on your order detail page once your order ships. Pro tip: We don’t have secret insider info beyond what the tracking page shows (and neither does the carrier, FYI).

If the tracking hasn’t updated for 10 days straight, hit us up or contact the carrier, and we’ll start an investigation. Because lost loot is no joke.

How do I cancel / make changes to an order?

Need to tweak or cancel your order? Shoot us an email or message us on Facebook ASAP. If you catch us before 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the next business day, we’ll make the magic happen.

But fair warning: once your order’s processed, it’s game over for changes or cancellations. (And yes, processing can happen before it’s marked as shipped, so don’t procrastinate!)
