In Spirit of The North from Merge Games for the Nintendo Switch, you play as an ordinary red fox whose story becomes entwined with the guardian of the Northern Lights, a female spirit fox. As you journey over the mountains and under red-stained skies you’ll discover more about your companion and a land left in ruin.

This 3rd-person adventure game will send players on a quiet journey as a fox through a beautiful and mystic world. After awakening the slumbering Spirit of the North, players are drawn into an adventure of discovery and companionship.

This world is inspired by the breathtaking and mysterious landscapes of Iceland and the story takes root from various pieces of Nordic folklore. Players become entwined with a spirit fox imbued with the powers of the Northern Lights. And as they traverse tundra, explore glacial caves, and cross calm alpine meadows, they discover more about their companion and, ultimately, about themselves.

The game is unique in that it purposefully has no dialogue or narrative. Players must breathe in their surroundings to solve various environment puzzles and postulate the meaning of an ancient civilization left in ruin.

The game's co-creator Tayler Christensen stated, “The mellow pace of the game is intended to encourage players to slow down and ponder their environments. Only then can they come to understand their spirit companion and discover their own purpose in the mysteries of the past..."

I highly recommend to buy games from this respectful company. Their customer service response time just unbeatable even compare to Amazon or other big retail company. Long story in short, I ordered wrong game for order cancellation, I thought most of reply template will be "Sorry to hear that, but order has been processed." But the customer service replied me under 15 min, and informed me the refund.

My purchase arrived in two days. I needed to follow up to confirm something and when I emailed their customer service I actually got a human with a name. We corresponded! It felt like I was talking to the owner and that he had time for me and really cared. These are the good guys and I need to remember to go to Shopville first when purchasing online.

Where is my package?

Tracking your package? The carrier's official tracking site has all the latest intel. You’ll find a link to it on your order detail page once your order ships. Pro tip: We don’t have secret insider info beyond what the tracking page shows (and neither does the carrier, FYI).
